Fifteen-year-old Brazilian talent Nauhany Silva has finalized her opening schedule for the 2026 season, blending professional and junior competition as part of a carefully planned development path. A member of the Time Rede Tênis team, the Sao Paulo native will begin her year on indoor hard courts in Great Britain, competing in two ITF World Tennis Tour W35 events: Birmingham from January 26–31, followed by Sheffield.

After her European swing, Silva—widely known as “Naná”—will shift her focus back to the junior circuit for a demanding stretch of major tournaments in South America. Her schedule includes the ITF J300 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia (February 23–28), the ITF J300 in Asunción, Paraguay (March 2–7), the Brasil Juniors Cup (J300) in Porto Alegre (March 9–15), and the prestigious Banana Bowl (J500) in Gaspar, Brazil, from March 16–22.

Time Rede Tenis Head Coach Léo Azevedo emphasized the importance of balancing junior and professional events early in the season. “We are thinking about Naná’s long-term development,” he explained. “She has been playing well, and it’s important to give her new experiences. Our focus is on the process.”

Preparation for the new season has also been a priority. According to Azevedo, Silva is completing the longest pre-season of her career, totaling seven weeks. “She’s having an excellent pre-season, showing great maturity along with physical and technical improvement. As I always say, the pre-season is the most important time of the year—it’s when we build new things.”

Currently ranked No. 36 in the ITF junior rankings and No. 652 on the WTA list, Silva is confident heading into 2026. “I’m hoping for a great year,” she said. “Playing both professional and junior tournaments will be very important for my development. I’ve had a strong pre-season, I feel great physically, and I’m ready to get started.”
