After a successful relaunch in the summer of 2025 with a new organizer and a new concept, the Berlin Tennis Open are taking the next step in their development and entering a new era with a title sponsor.

Biopharmaceutical company VANDA Pharmaceuticals will support the top-tier WTA 500 tournament through 2028. The event will now officially be known as the VANDA Pharmaceuticals Berlin Tennis Open.

From June 13 to 21, 2026, the world’s best women’s tennis will return to Berlin. Just two weeks before the season’s highlight at Wimbledon, the top players on the WTA Tour will compete at the Steffi Graf Stadium, battling for valuable ranking points and a record prize money purse of nearly USD 1.1 million.

Ticket sales are already off to a strong start, with advance sales exceeding last year’s figures. In 2025, the tournament was sold out on four of the seven competition days, underlining the growing popularity of the event.
