The ATP has confirmed the dates for the Challenger Ciudad de Guayaquil Copa Banco Guayaquil, which will take place from October 27 to November 2, 2025 on the clay courts of the Guayaquil Tennis Club.

We have been working on the organization for several months now,” said Andres Gomez, director of the event. “This feels almost like the first edition to us, because we are taking it with great responsibility, even though we’re already at our 21st tournament.” He added: “It hasn’t been easy to stay running for so long, but thanks to the support of sponsors, fans, and the media, we can offer high-level tennis in our city and country.”

The Challenger Ciudad de Guayaquil Copa Banco Guayaquil was held for the first time in 2005 and has been played every year since then, uninterrupted – even during the difficult year of the pandemic, 2020.

For the 2025 edition, organizers expect the participation of several Top 100 players, as well as rising foreign young talents and several members of Ecuador’s Davis Cup team.
