The second North American ATP Masters 1000 event of the summer started on Thursday, when the biggest stars compete at the revamped Cincinnati Open.

Defending champion Jannik Sinner, World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev headline the field, with Top 10 stars Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton leading US-American hopes in Ohio.

The hard-court event has undergone a major transformation, expanding to a 12-day, 96-player event in 2025, coinciding with a $260 million campus renovation.
