Terence Atmane has clinched the title of the 2025 Guangzhou Nansha International Challenger. The No. 4 seed of the ATP Challenger Tour 75 hard-court event defeated third-seeded Australian and defending champion Tristan Schoolkate 6-3, 7-6(4) in Sunday’s singles final.

Atmane, who clinched the title in Guangzhou two years ago, returned to the championship match with wins in the bottom half of the draw over local wild card entry Rigele Te, Marat Sharipov of Russia, Russian alternate Ilia Simakin and No. 2 seed Brandon Holt from the United States.

The 23-year-old Frenchman fired nine aces and won 82 per cent of his first-service points to prevail after one hour and 40 minutes.

By lifting his fourth ATP Challenger Tour career trophy, his second of the season following his triumph in Busan last month, Atmane earned $14,200 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.

The sixth edition of the Guangzhou Nansha International Challenger was held at the Guangzhou Nansha International Tennis Center and offered a total prize pool of $100,000.
