Four players ranked inside the world’s Top 100 and a total of 11 among the Top 150 have signed up to compete in the Uruguay Open 2025, which will take place from November 9–16 on the clay courts of the Carrasco Lawn Tennis Club in Montevideo.

In total, 12 countries are represented in the tournament’s main draw entry list, finalized on October 20. Argentina leads the way with seven players, followed by Brazil, Chile, and the United States with two each.

A historic first will also take place this year, as Hady Habib becomes the first player from Lebanon to compete in the Uruguay Open main draw. Other nations represented include Spain, Peru, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Paraguay, Mexico, and Bolivia.

The qualifying rounds promise to be equally exciting, with several notable names set to battle for a spot in the main draw. Among them are former world No. 16 Marco Cecchinato, former No. 17 Christian Garin, and two past champions of the Uruguay Open: Genaro Olivieri (2022) and Facundo Diaz Acosta (2023).
