OBERHACHING, February 11, 2026

The remaining first-round matches in singles and doubles were completed on Wednesday at the $15,000 TennisBase Open in Oberhaching, and it was a strong day for the home crowd. Vincent Reisach, Max Rehberg, Daniel Masur and Marc Majdandzic booked their places in the round of 16 at the ITF World Tennis Tour M15 event.

On Show Court 1, 16-year-old Vincent Reisach delivered an impressive and fearless performance against former champion Michael Agwi, who lifted the trophy in Oberhaching in 2024. While the Irishman is known for his aggressive game, he struggled with unforced errors early on, and Reisach raced into a 5-0 lead. Although Agwi managed to get on the board, the Bavarian wildcard sealed a commanding opening set. Reisach struck early again in the second set, and even though Agwi raised his level, the teenager kept his nerve. After missing two match points at 5-3, Reisach closed out the match in his next service game to claim a 6-1, 6-4 victory in 87 minutes. He will now face sixth seed Mae Malige of France in the round of 16.

The final singles match of the day saw a packed stand witness an all-German clash between Max Rehberg and Max Schoenhaus. Both players showed their comfort on the TennisBase courts, trading holds throughout a high-quality first set that was decided in a tight tie-break. Rehberg edged it 7-5 and carried the momentum into the second set, breaking early and moving ahead 3-0. Despite a spirited fightback from Schönhaus, Rehberg stayed in control with his serve and forehand, sealing a 7-6(5), 6-3 win with an ace after 1 hour and 44 minutes. The eighth seed will next meet qualifier Yaroslav Demin.

Daniel Masur also enjoyed a successful start to his home event, overcoming Britain’s Millen Hurrion in straight sets. After an early exchange of breaks, the match stayed on serve until 5-5, when the 31-year-old German struck decisively to take the first set 7-5. A similar pattern followed in the second, with Masur securing the crucial break at 3-3. Although he missed three match points on return, he served out the match confidently to win 7-5, 6-4 in one hour and 40 minutes.

Marc Majdandzic produced a composed and convincing display against Slovenia’s Filip Jeff Planinsek. The 21-year-old broke early in both sets and backed it up with solid service games and a proactive, aggressive approach. Even after fending off a late break point in his final service game, Majdandzic closed out a deserved 6-4, 6-4 victory in 85 minutes. This sets up an all-German round-of-16 meeting with seventh seed Masur.

Local favorite Sydney Zick, who had come through qualifying, faced the toughest task of the day against top seed Paul Jubb. The Brit showed his class early to take the first set comfortably. Zick raised his level in the second, creating several break chances and eventually earning one at 3-3, but Jubb hit back immediately. The set went to a tie-break, where the 26-year-old Jubb kept his composure to secure a 6-2, 7-6(5) win after 89 minutes.
