The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced the draw for the 2026 Davis Cup World Group I and II Play-offs, which was made at the ITF offices in London on Tuesday.
The draws will see 52 nations competing in 26 home-and-away ties, to be played in cities around the world on either 6-7 February or 7-8 February 2026. The choice of dates is determined by the home nation.
Winning nations from the 2026 World Group I Play-offs will compete in World Group I ties in September alongside the losing nations from the 2026 Qualifiers 1st Round. Losing nations from the 2026 World Group I Play-offs and winning nations from the 2026 World Group II Play-offs will compete in World Group II ties in September. Losing nations from the 2026 World Group II Play-offs will compete in regional Group III events later in the year.
The full line-up for the 2026 World Group I and II Play-offs was confirmed following the conclusion of the 2025 World Group I and II ties on Sunday 14 September. The World Group I Play-offs will be contested by the 13 nations that lost their 2025 World Group I tie and the 13 nations that won their 2025 World Group II tie. The World Group II Play-offs will be contested by the 13 nations that lost their 2025 World Group II tie and the 13 promoted nations from the 2025 Regional Group III events.
