Team World won its third Laver Cup in San Francisco, California on Sunday with a 15-9 victory over Team Europe.
World No. 5 and the No. 1 US-American Taylor Fritz defeated World No. 3 Alexander Zverev 6-3 7-6(4) to seal the win.

“We’re going to have a fun night,” Fritz said ahead of the trophy presentation. “Definitely popping some champagne in the locker room in a few minutes.”
Earlier, Team Europe’s Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud defeated Alex Michelsen and Reilly Opelka in the doubles 7-6(4) 6-1 to reduce Team World’s advantage to 9-6.
Alex de Minaur remained unbeaten on Day 3 with a 6-3 6-4 dispatch of Jakub Mensik, putting Team World within a point of clinching the Laver Cup.
Alcaraz kept Team Europe’s hopes alive with a 6-2 6-1 win against Francisco Cerundolo heading into Match 12.
Team World last won the Laver Cup at Vancouver 2023 after winning their first title at London 2022.
