The 38th edition of the Torneo BDO Tenis Playa Luanco delivered outstanding media results, attracting a combined television audience of 230,000 viewers across broadcasts on TeleDeporte, RTVE Play, regional channel TPA, and the tournament’s official YouTube channel, which drew visitors from 28 different countries. The presence of international stars such as France’s Benoit Paire and Richard Gasquet, along with Austria’s Dominic Thiem, significantly boosted the tournament’s visibility and impact on social media, where the event’s official Instagram and Facebook accounts surpassed three million views.
According to a report by Minerva Marketing, a total of 2,256 news articles were published by 359 media outlets covering the 2025 tournament — effectively doubling last year’s media return and giving sponsors and partners considerably greater visibility. Coverage in national media included reports on the semifinals and final that aired in three national news programs on La 1, three on La Sexta, and one on Telecinco, across August 6, 7, and 8. Collectively, these broadcasts reached over four million viewers.
