Alcaraz and Rune are set to face off in a blockbuster clash between Spain and Denmark in Marbella, while De Minaur leads an Australian team which take on Belgium in Sydney.

Fritz and Shelton are joined in the American squad by Tommy Paul and Frances Tiafoe, with all four men ranked inside the Top 20. USA will play against a Czechia team which is also at full-strength, with Miami champion Jakub Mensik alongside Jiri Lehecka and Tomas Machac.

Five ties will take place on Friday 12-Saturday 13 September, while Australia’s clash with Belgium, and Spain’s match-up with Denmark will be played on Saturday 13-Sunday 14 September.

Ties will be played as best-of-five matches, with two singles matches on day one, followed by the doubles match and the two reverse singles matches on day two. All matches are played as best-of-three tiebreak sets.

The seven winning nations in the Qualifiers 2nd Round will join last year’s world champions Italy at the 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna in November. The seven losing nations will compete in the 2026 Qualifiers 1st Round.

A further 26 home-and-away Davis Cup ties are also taking place in September, with 13 ties in the World Group I and 13 ties in the World Group II. Team announcements for the World Group I and World Group II ties will be made on Tuesday 2 September.
