The semi-finals of the Internazionali di Tennis – Città di Vicenza | Trofeo FL Service are set. Top seed Chun-Hsin Tseng of the Chinese Taipei had to dig deep to get past Austrian qualifier Joel Schwaerzler on Friday. Tseng showed his trademark resilience, chasing down shots beyond the baseline and capitalizing on rare lapses from his opponent to seal a 7-5, 6-4 win.
No. 3 seed Chris Rodesch of Luxembourg looked commanding in his straight-sets victory over Argentine Facundo Mena. Rodesch wrapped up the contest 6-3, 6-2 in just over an hour, displaying clinical baseline play and mental sharpness.
Perhaps the most entertaining match of the day came from rising stars Lukas Neumayer of Austria and Ignacio Buse from Peru. The 22-year-old Neumayer and 21-year-old Buse delivered a high-quality contest filled with tactical variety and dazzling shot-making. The deciding set went down to the wire, with Neumayer clinching the win in a dramatic tiebreak, 6-3, 2-6, 7-6(6), earning his place in the semi-finals.

In the final quarterfinal played under the lights at the Tennis Palladio 98, No. 2 seed Jerome Kym of Switzerland fought past No. 5 Duje Ajdukovic of Croatia 6-7(8), 7-6(3), 7-6(6) in two hours and 49 minutes.
Doubles final set
In doubles, Danish pair Johannes Ingildsen and August Holmgren cruised into the final with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Patrik Niklas-Salminen from Finland and Szymon Walkow of Poland. The Danes showcased excellent chemistry and crisp net play to book their spot in Sunday’s title match.
They’ll face the Italian duo of Federico Bondioli and Stefano Travaglia, the last local hopes still alive in the tournament. Backed by an enthusiastic home crowd, Bondioli and Travaglia edged past the South American tandem of Luis David Martinez (Venezuela) and Facundo Mena (Argentina), prevailing 6-3, 3-6, 10-7 in a closely contested match tiebreak.
