Ticket sales for the European Open 2025, the only ATP Tour tournament in Belgium, have begun. The annual ATP 250 indoor hard court event will take place Oct. 12-19 in its new location of Brussels.

With the 10th edition of Belgium’s biggest tennis tournament, the European Open 2025 has moved from Antwerp to its new location at ING Arena (formerly Paleis 12 at Brussels Expo) in Brussels.

Adding extra star power to the celebration of the tournament’s new location, Belgian No. 1 David Goffin (ranked 49th) and Belgian No. 2 Zizou Bergs (ranked 50th) have already confirmed their participation.

During the tournament’s first nine years of existence in Antwerp, among the previous winners of the European Open are: Jannik Sinner of Italy, Felix Auger-Aliassime of Canada and Great Britain’s Andy Murray. The defending champion is Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain.

The central location of Brussels will allow the European Open 2025 to be more easily accessible for fans, both within Belgium and throughout Europe, according to tournament organizers. Additionally, the new venue offers a larger seating capacity, more space and enhanced facilities that will allow the event to elevate the fan experience.

“Reaching the 10th edition of the European Open is a proud milestone, and what better way to celebrate than by bringing the tournament to Brussels for the very first time,” said Dick Norman, the European Open 2025 tournament director, in a statement. “Brussels Expo provides the perfect stage – not only for top-level tennis, but also for enhancing the overall fan experience. This year, we are introducing an expanded fan zone to entertain and engage our visitors throughout the week. With Belgian stars like Zizou Bergs and David Goffin confirmed, we are set for an unforgettable edition from October 12 to 19. We particularly invite fans to join us on Tuesday, October 14, for Belgian Day, when we will come together to cheer on our homegrown talents.”

Goffin will be making his sixth appearance at the European Open. In his debut in 2016, he reached the semifinals and since has been a quarterfinalist twice. The 34-year-old veteran recently defeated World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz at the Miami Open. This fall, he will attempt to capture his first title at home.

Meanwhile, Bergs, 25, now coached by former Beglian ATP player Kristof Vliegen, has enjoyed a strong start to the 2025 season. Like Goffin, he recently was a quarterfinalist in Munich on clay. Last year, he fought his way to the European Open quarterfinals before losing to American Marcos Giron. In Brussels, Bergs will once again thrill the Belgian fans as he continues to climb the ATP Tour rankings.

As Belgian pro tennis continues to improve, driven by a new wave of up-and-coming talent including Alexander Blockx and Raphaël Collignon, the European Open will continue to offer its fans a unique chance to see both established champions and future stars on court as it brings world-class tennis to Belgium.
