The semi-finals of the $53,120 Tallahassee Tennis Challenger are set with Zhizhen Zhang, Michael Mmoh, Tung-lin Wu and Daniel Elahi Galan advancing to the final four.

First up on Friday, Wu took to the court against US-American Christian Harrison. The 23-year-old from Chinese Taipei played a clinical first set, taking the opener 6-0. In the second, Harrison found his ground, but it would be Wu who would end up victorious with a 6-0, 6-4 win, advancing to his first ATP Challenger semi-final of the year after one hour and 29 minutes.

In the second quarterfinal, sixth-seeded US-American JJ Wolf faced off with Zhang. The 25-year-old Chinese took the first set 6-3, but Wolf was able to flip the script and take the second 6-3. Ultimately heading to a third set tie-break, Zhang prevailed 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(2) over the Ohio State standout after two hours and 25 minutes.

Next up, No. 3 seed Elahi Galan continued his winning ways, scoring a 6-3, 6-4 win in 76 minutes over Yosuke Watanuki from Japan. With the win, the reigning Sarasota Open champion of Colombia is on an eight match winning streak.

In the featured evening match, Mmoh took on fellow US-American Aleksandar Kovacevic in their fourth career meeting. World No. 198 Mmoh was able to grab the early break and take the first set 6-2, but in the second set the two stayed neck and neck, going to a tie-break. It was Mmoh who would advance to his first Tallahassee Tennis Challenger semi-final, defeating the wild card entry 6-2, 7-6(4) in one hour and 28 minutes.

Semi-final Saturday gets underway at 12:00 p.m. local time with the two singles matches, followed by the doubles championship match. Gijs Brouwer from the Netherlands and Christian Harrison of the United States will take on Cristian Rodríguez of Colombia and Diego Hidalgo from Ecuador for the 2022 doubles crown.

General admission tickets are available for just $15.
