The sun is forecasted to come out on Friday and second round play to begin at 10 a.m. Friday’s schedule of play includes top seed Mathias Bourgue of France taking on Ruan Roelofse from South Africa as well as a matchup in singles of former UCLA Bruin teammates and doubles partners Marcos Giron, the No. 4 seed, against Karue Sell. While recovering from surgery on both his left and right hips, Giron served as a volunteer assistant for the Bruins in 2016, Sell’s senior season.
