VALENCIA/STARNBERG, September 18, 2025
From October 5 to 12, the Club de Tenis Valencia will welcome another edition of the Copa Faulcombridge by Marcos Automoción, an ATP Challenger Tour 125 event on clay that has quickly become a fixture on the international tennis calendar.
Since its return in 2022, the tournament has crowned champions such as Oleksii Krutykh, Fabio Fognini and local favourite Pedro Martinez, who lifted the trophy in front of his home fans in 2024.
The 2025 edition promises a high-quality field led by World No. 67 Martinez himself, who will once again flying the Spanish flag and aim to repeat last year’s success after his heroics for Spain in the Davis Cup last weekend. Czech Vit Kopriva (World No. 102) is the second seed, while Spaniards Carlos Taberner (World No. 104) and Roberto Carballés Baena (World No. 110) also headline the entry list.
International representation is equally strong with Chile’s Alejandro Tabilo (No. 112), Peru’s Ignacio Buse (No. 113), Colombia’s Daniel Elahi Galan (No. 130) and Argentina’s Marco Trungelliti (No. 144), one of the in-form players of the season with three Challenger titles in 2025.
Backed by Marcos Automoción and an extensive roster of sponsors, the Copa Faulcombridge combines the emergence of young talents with the experience of established names, reinforcing its status as a reference point on the Challenger circuit.
