Innovation Immerses Fans And Players In Magic Of Laver Cup

The Laver Cup which will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco, from September 19–21 2025, is set to elevate the fan and player experience with in-venue and broadcast innovations that will provide unparalleled insights and redefine how tennis is experienced globally.

Player and Captain Insights

The Laver Cup Coaching Tool, sponsored by Perplexity, equips captains and players with real-time data to gain a competitive edge. Accessed via tablet, it delivers detailed statistics, identifies trends, and highlights key insights about serve location, return placement, groundstroke errors and more, helping teams make smarter on‑court decisions.

The Laver Cup Hub

To elevate the fan experience, Perplexity has created the Laver Cup Hub, a digital destination featuring live scoring and match highlights. Designed for both casual tennis enthusiasts and dedicated followers, the Hub makes it easier than ever to connect with the event. Perplexity will also sponsor in‑arena and broadcast insights packages, including the popular close‑call visualisation.

Fan Radio

The Laver Cup Fan Radio will provide fans in-stadium with broadcast commentary and live audio feeds from the team benches, providing a fascinating insight into the team dynamics, personalities and tactics in play. Accessible via smartphone, fans simply connect to the Chase Center’s free WiFi, scan the QR code on the center hung scoreboard, and choose from ‘Match Commentary’, ‘Team Europe’ or ‘Team World’ feeds.

Laver Cup will continue to set new standards for tennis broadcasting in 2025, with production enhancements such as enhanced bench cams and animated feeds that bring fans closer to the unique drama and excitement of this one-of-a-kind team competition.

Enhanced Bench Cams

The fan-favorite Laver Cup Bench Cam feed, which streams the action from the Team Europe and Team World courtside benches, will be significantly upgraded for 2025 with access to team zone and player bench vision and audio. Streamed on lavercup.com and free-to-view, this year’s Bench Cam will see the Team Captains and Vice Captains mic’d up for the first time, giving fans enhanced insight into strategy and team dynamics at the change-of-ends.

Laver Cup Animated

Laver Cup 2025 will see the introduction of Laver Cup Animated, an innovative fusion of live match streaming and dynamic animated overlays, accessed via Tennis Channel’s direct to consumer app, with match highlights and other clips shared on Laver Cup’s YouTube channel. Laver Cup Animated will recreate what is happening on the court from warm-up to the final ball of every singles match. By integrating skeletal tracking data with animated characters, this mixed-reality experience is designed to captivate a new generation of tennis fans, making the event more accessible and engaging, particularly for children and families.

World Feed

A team of leading international commentators, including former World No.1 Jim Courier, former Team World player Sam Querrey, Britain’s Mark PetcheySamantha Smith and Jason Goodall, Austria’s Barbara Schett, and Australia’s Todd Woodbridge, will bring all the Laver Cup color and excitement from San Francisco to fans around the world through the world feed.

The Laver Cup world feed studio will feature a new look in 2025, with a new hosting desk incorporating a 60-inch integrated screen, DMX controllable lighting, and an LED ticker. The 2025 Laver Cup broadcast will also be the first Tier 1 sports production in the world to utilise AirPixel Technology to overlay AR graphics over Steadicam, finding new ways to tell graphical stories and captivate viewers.

Fans from more than 230 territories worldwide are expected to tune into broadcast coverage of Laver Cup San Francisco 2025. More than 25 hours of live coverage will be broadcast over the three days of competition.

Tennis Channel

Exclusive US broadcaster Tennis Channel will have an expanded presence for Laver Cup 2025, with a dedicated set and an expert broadcast lineup including Brad GilbertPrakash AmritrajSteve Weissman, and Jon Wertheim delivering comprehensive coverage throughout the tournament.

Fans can watch the action live on Tennis Channel, the Tennis Channel App, and TennisChannel.com, and expect an immersive viewing experience with pre-match analysis, player and coach interviews, and appearances by special guests.

Coverage begins Thursday September 18, with the premiere of the Laver Cup Line-Up Show at 10PM ET, followed by three full days of action from first ball to last ball, September 19-21. The network’s Tennis Channel Live will air at 9PM on Friday and Saturday ahead of the evening sessions, with a special pre-match edition at 2:30PM Sunday leading into the final session of the event.

For the first time, the Tennis Channel App, will simulcast Laver Cup Animated singles matches, offering fans a unique viewing option first introduced at Australian Open 2025.

The eighth edition of the Laver Cup will see Taylor Fritz, Alex de Minaur, Francisco Cerundolo, Alex Michelsen, João Fonseca and Reilly Opelka take to the court for Team World under the leadership of Captain Andre Agassi and Vice-Captain Pat Rafter. Meanwhile, Team Europe will field Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Jakub Mensik and Flavio Cobolli, under the stewardship of Captain Yannick Noah and Vice-Captain Tim Henman.

A very limited number of Laver Cup 2025 tickets remain. Tickets are still available for Open Practice Day presented by FICO held on Thursday September 18, for $20 ($31.65 inclusive of fees). All tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster, the official ticketing partner of the Chase Center.
