Bonn Open

BONN/STARNBERG, July 17, 2025

The provisional entry list for the second edition of the Bonn Open promises a thrilling week of top-tier tennis as international stars and rising German talents descend on the former German capital from August 3 to 10.

Leading the field is Belgium’s Raphael Collignon, who has surged up the ATP Rankings over the past year. The 23-year-old claimed his maiden ATP Challenger title in August 2023 and has since added three more trophies to his name. Now ranked No. 85 in the world, the right-hander is firmly established on the Grand Slam stage.

Also making his debut in Bonn is Dutch star Botic van de Zandschulp. The 29-year-old brings a wealth of experience from the ATP Tour and Davis Cup and recently pulled off stunning victories over tennis legends Carlos Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic.

“I’m very pleased with the entry list, which is headlined by two Top-100 players in Raphael and Botic,” said tournament director Lars Zimmermann. “Especially Botic, who has proven himself a major force on the ATP Tour after those incredible wins over three of the sport’s biggest names. I’m also delighted that last year’s semifinalist and fan favorite Benni Hassan is returning.”

From a German perspective, fans can look forward to the appearance of rising star Diego Dedura. The 17-year-old recently celebrated his first ATP Tour win and now aims to take the next step in his career on the courts of TC Blau-Gelb Bonn-Beuel.

The full list of qualifiers will be released on Friday, August 18, with a number of promising German youngsters vying for a coveted main draw spot. Wildcard announcements are also expected in the coming days.
