POZOBLANCO/STARNBERG, June 30, 2025

The 30th edition of the Open Ciudad de Pozoblanco – Memorial Fabián Dorado is set to welcome a strong field of international talent when it returns as an ATP Challenger 75 event from July 14 to 20, 2025. Several big names have already confirmed their participation, including Mikhail Kukushkin, Constant Lestienne, Hugo Grenier, and Alejandro Moro.

The entry list features former ATP Tour champions, past Top 50 players, Davis Cup regulars, and two previous winners of the tournament held in the Province of Cordoba, Spain.

British No. 1 seed Billy Harris will lead the pack after a standout performance last week at the ATP 250 event in Eastbourne, where he defeated compatriot Cameron Norrie to reach the quarterfinals. Harris also competes in the main draw at Wimbledon.

Among the most recognizable names is Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin, a veteran who has spent time in the Top 40. The 36-year-old boasts one ATP title from St. Petersburg and has reached four tour-level finals throughout his career.

As in previous years, France will have a strong presence. The past two Pozoblanco champions, Constant Lestienne (2022) and Hugo Grenier (2023), will return, along with last year’s runner-up Antoine Escoffier, who went on to win the Open Villa del Espinar later that season.

The tournament also shines a spotlight on emerging talent. Luxembourg’s Chris Rodesch, who claimed his first Challenger title this year in Tallahassee, USA, will feature prominently. He’ll be joined by Lithuania’s Edas Butvilas, a breakout star in Pozoblanco two years ago when he reached the quarterfinals at just 18. Also returning is Bulgaria’s Iliyan Radulov, a former Top 10 junior, who competed here last season and won a main draw match.

Five Players Heading to Wimbledon

In total, five players from the Pozoblanco entry list compete in the main draw at Wimbledon 2025: the British contingent of Harris, Loffhagen, Crawford, and Monday, along with Rodesch.

With a blend of seasoned veterans, rising stars, and local talent, the 2025 edition of the Open Ciudad de Pozoblanco promises to deliver a memorable week of high-level tennis in the heart of Andalusia.
