The 30th edition of the Enea Poznan Open is set to begin on Sunday, June 15, 2025, with the qualifying rounds, followed by main draw action from Monday, June 16. Organizers have unveiled the entry list for the prestigious ATP Challenger event, and it features an exciting mix of familiar faces, rising stars, and former champions.

Leading the field is Pablo Carreno Busta, who returns to Park Tenisowy Olimpia as the top seed. The 33-year-old Spaniard, currently ranked World No. 99, is no stranger to Poznan. He won the title here in 2015 and is eager to repeat that success a decade later.

“I have great memories here. I’ve always been treated incredibly well and felt amazing playing in Poznan. The club is welcoming and very player-friendly. The city is beautiful, which helps to relax between matches,” said Carreno Busta, a former World No. 10, two-time US Open semifinalist, Roland Garros quarterfinalist, and Tokyo 2020 Olympic bronze medalist.

Joining him in the draw is Thiago Seyboth Wild of Brazil, the second seed and currently ranked No. 117. The 25-year-old, a 2018 US Open junior champion, narrowly missed out on the Roland Garros main draw this year, falling in the second round of qualifying.

Argentine Roman Andres Burruchaga will be the third seed. Ranked No. 118, the 23-year-old is climbing steadily in the rankings and brings a strong sporting pedigree — he is the son of Jorge Burruchaga, the footballer who scored Argentina’s winning goal in the 1986 World Cup final.

Another notable name returning to Poznan is Cristian Garin of Chile. Once ranked as high as World No. 17, Garin is currently No. 123 and looking to rebuild his ranking. He captured five ATP Tour titles and reached the Wimbledon quarterfinals in 2022. He last played in Poznan back in 2014, when he came through qualifying but lost in the first round.

Other top seeds include: Dalibor Svrcina (No. 127), Thiago Agustin Tirante (No. 132), Felipe Meligeni Alves (No. 134) and Filip Misolic (No. 153)

“We’re thrilled to welcome such outstanding players back to Poznań. It shows they appreciate our tournament and enjoy the atmosphere on our courts,” said tournament director Marta Jankowska.

Wild Cards, Qualifiers, and Defending Champion

This year’s main draw will feature 32 players, including six qualifiers, three wild cards, and two special exempts. Among those already confirmed is Maks Kasnikowski, the 2024 champion. The 21-year-old Pole, currently ranked No. 257, has struggled with injuries in recent months and is hoping the Poznan courts can once again serve as a springboard for a ranking resurgence.
