“First of all congratulations to Marco (Trungelliti) for a spectacular week and for the level of the tournament it was, especially because it is difficult to come back from an injury and do a final again and that has merit,” Cachin said.“Every time I can I come to this tournament, although the previous times I did not have good results, but it has always been a pleasure for me to come because they make us feel at home.“What was seen on the central court, not only today but also in the previous days, but today they highlighted it (…) this is a spectacular and unique tournament that makes us want to come.”

Cachin celebrated his fifth ATP Challenger career title, his fourth of the season following his triumphs at the Open Comunidad de Madrid in Spain, the Prague Open in the Czech Republic and at the Internazionali di Tennis Città di Todi in Italy.
