Bernabe Zapata Miralles has been crowned champion of the Rhein Asset Open. The top seed of the €45,730 ATP Challenger Tour clay-court event held at the TeReMeer Sport and Tennis Resort in Meerbusch, Germany cruised past Dennis Novak from Austria 6-1, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.
The World No. 89 sent down three aces and won 89 per cent of his first-service points to secure victory in only 50 minutes.

Zapata Miralles claimed his fourth ATP Challenger career crown and has become the second Spaniard to lift the trophy in Meerbusch after Ricardo Ojeda Lara in 2017.
He earned €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
