TODI/STARNBERG, July 8, 2022

Persistent rain accompanied by a storm in Umbria, Italy has cancelled all of the second-round matches scheduled for Thursday at the €45,730 Internazionali di Tennis Città di Todi ATP Challenger Tour clay-court event.

At the time of the interruption the opening matches of the day were underway. Matteo Gigante and Pedro Cachin of Argentine were out on Center Court when the encounter was suspended with a 5-4 lead for the Italian, serving for the set. On Grandstand, Argentina’s Santiago Rodriguez Taverna had just won the first set 6-2 against Daniel Dutra Da Silva from Brazil and was leading 2-1 in the second.

The sun will return to the Tennis Club Todi 1971 on Friday. Matches will start at 11 am local time.
