Jack Draper captured the title of the Città di Forli 4, a €45,730 ATP Challenger Tour hard-court tournament hosted by the Cooperativa Tennis Villa Carpena in Forli, Italy. The unseeded Briton beat Dutch qualifier Tim van Rijthoven 6-1, 6-2 in Sunday’s singles final.

Draper struck eight aces, saved all four break points he faced and capitalized on four of his own five break-point chances to prevail after exactly one hour of play.

The World No. 201 battled his way to the championship match through the top half of the draw with wins over Mirza Basic from Bosnia and Herzegovina, top-seeded Frenchman Quentin Halys, qualifier Evan Furness of France and Japanese qualifier Yosuke Watanuki.

“I played my best match of the week in the final, beating a strong opponent, who had a really good run here in Forli,” said Draper. “I am also happy to crack the Top 200 in the world.”

Following his maiden Challenger triumph here in Forli in January, Draper conquered his second career crown. The 20-year-old earned €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points.
