M25 Shrewsbury GBR – Alastair Gray triumphs on home soil
Alastair Gray was victorious at the $25K Pro Series Shrewsbury, hosted by The Shrewsbury Club.
The 23-year-old from Great Britain cruised past former college player Henri Squire from Germany in the semi-finals in two sets.
Wildcard entry Harry Wendelken set the all-British final with a straight-set win against his compatriot Stuart Parker.
Unseeded Gray sent down eight aces in the championship match and won 81 per cent of his first-service points to succeed 7-5, 6-1 after one hour and 13 minutes. The Twickenham native celebrated his third career title on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his back-to-back titles in Johannesburg last season.

M25 Canberra AUS – Dane Sweeny wins maiden title on home soil
The Canberra Pro Tour#1, held at Canberra Tennis Centre, concluded with the title win of Dane Sweeny from Australia.
In the all-Australian semi-finals, the No. 2 seed battled past James McCabe in straight sets.
Top seed Akira Santillan benefited in the stage of the last four from the retirement of Rubin Statham at the score of 6-3, 3-2.
Twenty-one-year-old Sweeny withstood 12 aces from his rival in the title match to triumph 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 after two hours and 22 minutes. The Penrith native lifted his first trophy on the Pro Circuit.

JC Aragone clinched the title of the World Tennis Tour Cancun 2022, held at Cancun Tennis Complex.
The former college player for the University of Virginia cruised past Alejandro Gonzalez from Colombia in the stage of the final four in two sets.
Luca Gerch from Germany, who played college tennis for the Oklahoma State University, made the last step to the final with a straight-set win versus Ecuadorian No. 7 seed Roberto Quiroz.
Buenos Aires-born Aragone, who represents the United States, broke his 27-year-old rival in the title match four times without losing a service game to prevail 6-1, 6-3 in 73 minutes. The 26-year-old lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour in addition to his two title wins in North America 2018.

M15 Antalya TUR – Lukas Neumayer captures maiden title
Lukas Neumayer clinched the trophy of the Antalya Series, held at Club Megasaray in Belek.
The 19-year-old Austrian, who is practicing at the tennis academy of Günter Bresnik in the South of Vienna, knocked off Italian No. 2 seed Riccardo Bonadio in the semi-finals in two sets.
Uruguayan No. 8 seed Martin Cuevas advanced to the final with a straight-set victory against top seeded Evgenii Tiurnev from Russia.
Unseeded Neumayer outpointed the younger brother of professional Pablo Cuevas in the championship match 63-45 to secure a 6-2, 6-2 victory in 85 minutes. The Salzburg native, who qualified for the main draw at the Generali Open in Kitzbühel last season, celebrated his first singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Grenoble FRA – Alexey Vatutin returns to winners’ circle
Alexey Vatutin from Russia is the champion of the 4eme Trophee de la Ville de Grenoble, hosted by the venue of Grenoble Tennis.
The tournament’s top favourite advanced to the final with a three-set win against Tim Handel from Germany, who played college tennis for Northern Arizona University.
Teenager Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg, who was ranked No. 7 in the ITF Juniors Ranking last season, edged out his No. 8 seeded fellow French Tak Khunn Wang in the semi-finals in three sets.
Twenty-nine-year-old Vatutin gained four breaks in the title match to succeed 6-4, 6-1 in about one hour. The Volgograd native lifted his 11th trophy on the Pro Circuit including his ATP Challenger triumph in Poznan. It has been the first title for the Russian since 2017.
M15 Naples USA – Pedro Boscardin Dias triumphs in Florida
The Naples Men’s $15.000 Emilio Sanchez Academy Florida by BMW ended with the title win of Pedro Boscardin Dias.
The former junior’s World No. 6 won the all-Brazilian semifinal-clash against No. 7 seed Jose Pereira in straight sets.
Bolivian No. 6 seed Murkel Dellien finished the run of British qualifier Blu Baker in the stage of the last four in three sets.
Joinville-born Boscardin Dias converted all of his three break-point chances in the championship match and lost two service games to claim a 6-3, 7-6 win after about two hours. The 19-year-old celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his maiden triumph on home soil last season.
