M15 Bressuire FRA – Antoine Bellier earns unexpected victory

Unseeded Antoine Bellier captured the title of the 20ème Internationaux de Bressuire – 79, held at Tennis Club de Bressuire.

The 23-year-old Swiss rallied down Luca Poullain from France in the semi-finals in three sets.

No. 4 seed Quentin Robert, who is representing French overseas department La Reunion, took the last step to the final by beating Polish teenager Wojciech Marek in straight sets.

Left-handed Bellier struck eight aces in the title match and converted two of his nine break-point opportunities to prevail 6-4, 6-3 after 69 minutes. The Geneva native celebrated his third singles trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Kazan RUS – Sergey Fomin claims first hard court title

The Tatarstan Winter Cup 2020, held at Kazan Tennis Academy, concluded with the victory of teenager Sergey Fomin.

The unseeded Uzbek knocked off the tournament’s top favourite Konstantin Kravchuk from Russia in the stage of the final four in two sets.

No. 2 seeded Evgenii Tiurnev emerged victorious from the all-Russian semi-final battle with a straight-set win versus Maxim Ratniuk.

Tashkent-born Fomin withstood 18 aces from his 22-year-old opponent in the championship match to seal a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 victory after two hours and 11 minutes. The 18-year-old lifted his second career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour following his maiden triumph on clay in Shymkent last season.

M15 Antalya TUR – Timofei Skatov captures his maiden title

Timofei Skatov celebrated his first title on the ITF World Tennis Tour by winning the Megasaray Tennis Cup Series 1, hosted at Club Megasaray in Belek.

The 19-year-old Kazakh, who was ranked No. 1 in ITF Juniors in 2018, battled through the top half of the draw, beating Dragos Nicolae Madaras from Sweden in two sets.

Serbian No. 5 seed Miljan Zekic eased past Justin Eleveld from the Netherlands in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Winning three points more in the title match than his 31-year-old rival, Astana resident Skatov prevailed 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in two hours and 48 minutes.

M15 Monastir TUN – Nuno Borges expands his winning streak in finals

Nuno Borges is the champion of the Magic Tours tournament, held at Magic Hotel Skanes Family in Monastir.

The unseeded Portuguese knocked off the tournament’s second favourite Sebastian Baez from Argentina, a former top-ranked junior in 2018, in the stage of the last four in three sets.

Belgian Zizou Bergs made the last step to the final by defeating Petros Chrysochos from Cyprus in straight sets.

Twenty-two year-old Borges won nine points more than his opponent in the championship match to claim a 6-4, 7-6 victory in one hour and 53 minutes. The Maia native lifted his seventh trophy on the ITF World Tennis tour, winning his fifth consecutive final.

M15 Cancun MEX – Manuel Pena Lopez prevails in all-Argentinean affair

The M15 Cancun tournament, held at Cancun Tennis Academy, concluded with the victory of Manuel Pena Lopez.

The 21-year-old Argentine stopped the run of Brazilian qualifier Jose Pereira, who was ranked World No. 4 as a junior, in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Alejo Lorenzo Lingua Lavallen from Argentina received a walkover in the semi-finals from US-American No. 4 seed Jordi Arconada.

Mendoza-born Pena Lopez dropped one service game in the title match and converted five of his eight break-point chances to get the victory after 86 minutes by the score of 6-3, 6-0. The No. 3 seed celebrated his second singles title on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Cairo EGY – Top-seed Nikolas Sanchez Izquierdo wins

Nikolas Sanchez Izquierdo clinched the trophy of the M15 Cairo tournament, hosted at Al-Solaimaneyah Tennis Center.

The top seeded Spaniard rallied past Juan Pablo Paz from Argentina in the stage of the final four in two sets.

Mathieu Perchicot from France, who entered the tournament on position three, advanced to the final with a straight-sets win against Italian No. 2 seed Fabrizio Ornago.

Twenty-year-old Sanchez Izquierdo outpointed his 27-year-old rival in the championship match 93-82 to secure a 7-6, 7-6 win after two hours and 26 minutes. The Barcelona native lifted his third career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
