The Italian Tennis Federation (FIT) has granted its wild cards for the € 64,000 Sparkassen ATP Challenger Val Gardena to Edoardo Eremin (No. 353), Lorenzo Sonego (No. 450) and Matteo Berrettini (No. 553). The tournament is taking place from 7 to 15  November in Ortisei, a town of about 4,500 inhabitants in South Tyrol.

At the end of September, the organizers have already given their wild card to world number 28 Andreas Seppi. The 31-year-old local from Bolzano is making his fourth consecutive appearance at his home tournament. Seppi lifted the trophy in 2013 as well as in 2014 and made it to the final in 2012.
