HAMBACH, October 5, 2015

Maximilian Marterer captured his fourth ITF Future title of the season, winning the 10th edition of the Dittelbrunn Open on Sunday. The 20-year-old German lifted his third trophy on home soil, following his triumphs in Stuttgart-Stammheim and Kaarst in January. Another title came in Italy.

Marterer celebrated a comfortable victory in the final at the Tennis Center Hambach, winning 6-2, 6-2 against fellow countryman Marc Sieber. The German youngster and tournament’s top-seed put a lot of pressure on his opponent, served well on the fast carpet and gained early breaks in every set to close the encounter.
