ITF Future Nord 2019

KALTENKIRCHEN, June 1, 2019

Defending champion Dimitar Kuzmanov of Bulgaria will return to the $15,000 Future Nord held from 10 to 16 June 2019 and for the fourth time at the Tennisclub an der Schirnau. The World No. 330 in the ATP Rankings leads the entry list of the ITF World Tennis Tour M15 clay-court event.

Kuzmanov, who defeated local favourite Marvin Möller in last year’s final, will be joined by a strong contingent of German players. Jeremy Jahn, Marvin Netuschil, Lucas Gerch, Daniel Altmaier and Peter Torebko will try to delight their home crowd at the biggest combined tennis tournament in Schleswig-Holstein.

The same week as the men, the women will also compete in Kaltenkirchen. The entry list is led by Clara Tauson from Denmark. The World No. 383 in the WTA Rankings has already won three titles this season. Yuki Naito of Japan as well as Catalina Pella from Argentina could be part of the line-up. Players from 16 different nations are expected to appear in Northern Germany.
