M25 Jablonec Nad Nisou CZE – Patrik Rikl celebrates home win

20-year-old Patrik Rikl got the crown of the Jablonec nad Nisou Open 2019, hosted at CLTK Bizuteria.

The unseeded Czech, who entered the tournament by special exempt due to his final appearance in Prague last week, knocked off Dutch No. 8 seed Gijis Brouwer in the semi-finals in straight sets.

The son of former tennis professional David Rikl, who reached a career high ATP No. 41, met his teenaged compatriot Jiri Lehecka in the final. 17-year-old Lehecka entered the competition by his current ITF junior ranking No. 16.

Outpointing his rival 80-70 in the title match, Florida native Rikl sealed a 7-6, 6-3 victory after one hour and 39 minutes to lift his fourth trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

In the doubles competition, another home win was set by the experienced Vaclav Safranek and Jan Satral, beating the Croatian brothers Ivan and Matej Sabanov in the final 7-6, 0-6, 10-8.

M25 Vic ESP – Raul Brancaccio gets another win on clay-court

Raul Brancaccio celebrated the title of the ITF M25 tournament at Club Tennis Vic.

Dominating the bottom half of the draw without losing a set, the 22-year-old Italian rallied past Portuguese veteran Fred Gil, who entered the competition by his ITF ranking, in the stage of the last four.

Argentinean teenager Facundo Diaz Acosta, who was ranked No. 6 in ITF Juniors last year, battled down top seeded Oriol Roca Batalla from Spain in the semi-finals in straight sets.

Scoring the same number of points as his 18-year-old left handed opponent by 121, Brancaccio came back from a set down to prevail in the title match with 5-7, 7-5, 6-3 after two hours and 36 minutes. The No. 3 seed lifted his fifth trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Kampala UGA – Unbelievable Ivan Nedelko captures third consecutive Kampala title

Ivan Nedelko is the man to beat on the ITF Pro Circuit. The Russian veteran triumphed at the UGPRO World Tennis Tour 2019, which was held at Lugogo Tennis Club, to lift his third consecutive Kampala trophy without losing a set.

The 33-year-old top seed, who battled past Indian Abhinav Sanjeev Shanmugam in the stage of the final four, faced 24-year-old Giovani Samaha from Lebanon in the final.

Lasting 64 minutes, left handed Samaha had to retire from the title match after two played games in the second set. St. Petersburg native Nedelko secured the win with 6-3, 1-1 to celebrate his 24th career trophy and his fourth title in a row on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on clay.

M25 Nonthaburi THA – Shuichi Sekiguchi claims third title of the season

Shuichi Sekiguchi dominated the ITF Mens Circuit 1 tournament, which was hosted at the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand in Nonthaburi, without dropping a set during the competition.

The 27-year-old Japanese, who was previously ranked ITF No. 5 as a junior, rallied past Australian No. 4 seed Harry Bourchier in the semi-finals.

25-year-old runner-up Ji Sung Nam from the Korean Republic took the last step in defeating Japanese ITF entry Shintaro Imai in two sets.

In the title match, No. 5 seeded Sekiguchi broke the service of his rival for four times by losing one service game to celebrate a 6-1, 6-4 victory after 69 minutes. The San Francisco native lifted his third trophy of the season and his ninth overall on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Brcko BIH – Favourite win of Juan Pablo Ficovich

22-year-old Juan Pablo Ficovich is the champion of the Brcko Open 2019, held at TC Prohema.

In the stage of the final four, the top seeded Argentinean knocked off Russian No. 3 seed Artem Dubrivnyy in three sets.

24-year-old Christopher O’Connell from Australia, who clinched the title in Doboj last week, booked the spot in the final in beating Austrian No. 7 seed David Pichler from Austria by retirement in the second set.

Outpointing his rival 72-63, Ficovich got victorious from the title match after 94 minutes with 6-4, 6,4 to lift his sixth overall trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them achieved on clay-court.

M15 Heraklion GRE – In-form Evan Hoyt captures his third trophy of the season

No. 3 seeded Evan Hoyt triumphed at the 14th Lyttos ITF World Tour, which was hosted at Lyttos Beach Tennis Academy in Heraklion, to celebrate his third singles title of his last four appearances on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The 24-year old Mexico native, who is representing Great Britain, took the last step to the final in beating Greece born Frenchman Markos Kalovelonis by a tough three-set clash.

Austrian qualifier Jonas Trinker rallied down No. 2 seeded Altug Celikbilek from Turkey in the semi-finals in three sets.

The title match was a tough three-set battle of the two big serving competitors. Hoyt withstood 25 aces of his 23-year-old opponent by strucking 14 aces to secure a 4-6, 7-6, 7-5 victory after two hours and 57 minutes. He lifted his sixth trophy on the ITF Pro Circuit, all of them won on hard court.

M15 Bucharest ROU – Clay-court specialist Albert Alcaraz Ivorra crowns sensational run

The Ioana Cup 2019, hosted at Tenis Club Herastau in Bucharest, concluded with the surprising victory of qualifier Albert Alcaraz Ivorra.

The 24-year-old Spaniard, who battled past Bulgarian top seed Alexander Lazarov in the stage of the final eight, advanced in the semi-finals versus Brazilian teenager Matheus Pucinelli de Almeida in straight sets. 18-year-old Pucinelli de Almeida entered the tournament by his current ITF junior ranking.

Italian No. 2 seed Giovanni Fonio made it through the bottom half of the draw, defeating No. 4 seeded Thomas Fancutt from Australia in the stage of the last four in two sets.

Lasting two hours and 25 minutes, Alcaraz Ivorra came back from a set down in the title match to get a 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 win against his 21-year-old rival. He celebrated his third trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour, all of them won on clay-court.

M15 Antalya TUR – Christopher Heyman clinches his third title of the season

Christopher Heyman won the title of the Daikin Cup Tennis Series, held at Starlight Resort Hotel in Antalya, to lift his third season trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

The 25-year-old Belgian, who entered the competition on position 2, emerged victorious from the clash of the left handed players in the stage of the final four against 19-year-old German qualifier Niklas Guttau in straight sets.

20-year-old top seed Ergi Kirkin from Turkey took the last step to the final in defeating his contemporary countryman Koray Kirci in two sets.

In the title match, Heyman capitalized on four of his 12 break point chances by dropping two service games, to claim a 6-4, 6-3 victory after one hour and 52 minutes to celebrate his 15th career singles title on the ITF Pro Circuit.

M15 Cancun MEX – Matija Pecotit earns sensational comeback triumph

The Cancun Tennis Cup, which was hosted at the Cancun Tennis Academy, concluded with the sensational comeback title of Matija Pecotic.

The 29-year-old Belgrad native, who is representing Croatia, clinched his first title on the ITF World Tennis Tour since his successful year 2015 with four titles, reaching ATP No. 206 as a career high. In 2017, he started studying at the US College in Princeton, so the tournament in Cancun has been his first appearance on the ITF Pro Circuit for almost two years.

Entering the tournament in the qualifying competition, left handed Pecotic rallied past US-American top seed Martin Redlicki in the stage of the final eight in straight sets, followed by a the three-set win versus 19-year-old Argentinean qualifier Tomas Martin Etcheverry, who was previously ranked ITF No. 12 as a junior.

19-year-old runner-up Camilo Ugo Carabelli from Argentina , who entered the competiton on position three, stopped the way of former No. 1 in ITF Junior rankings Juan Sebastian Gomez from Colombia in the semi-finals in two sets.

Breaking the service of his rival for six times by losing two service games, Pecotic prevailed in the title match after 91 minutes with 6-2, 6-1 to lift his fifth trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

M15 Irpin UKR – Veteran Artem Smirnov ends title drought with home win

No. 3 seeded Artem Smirnov got the crown of the Khoklov Memorial 2019, which was held at Tennis Center UTF in Irpin, to celebrate his first singles title since his last championship in 2016.

The 31-year-old Ukraine knocked off top seeded Denis Yevseyev from Kazakhstan in the stage of the final four in three sets, to meet unseeded Vladyslav Orlov in the final.

Converting five of his seven break point opportunities by losing two service games, left handed Smirnov sealed a 6-2, 6-3 win after one hour and 37 minutes against his 24-year-old compatriot to lift his 23rd career trophy on the ITF World Tennis Tour.
