Filip Krajinovic captured his second ATP Challenger title, winning the Intermek Tennis Cup Internazionali di Tennis del Friuli Venezia Giulia in Cordenons.

The 23-year-old Serbian, who lifted his first career trophy in Braunschweig last month, benefited from the retirement of Adrian Ungur. The 30-year-old Romania, who played his first ATP Challenger final within one year, was forced to retire due to right upper leg injury being down 7-5, 4-6, 1-4 after two hours and six minutes.

Up to this point, Krajinovic fired seven aces and capitalized on six of his 12 break points in the pair’s third meeting to extend the head to head record to 2-1.

Earlier the day, Slovakian pair of Andrej Martin and Igor Zelenay claimed the doubles title winning 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 against the Croatian tandem of Dino Marcan and Antonio Sancic in one hour and 41 minutes.
