No. 4 seed Lloyd Harris of South Africa secured a quarterfinal spot, defeating US-American wild card entry Thai-Son Kwiatkowski 6-2, 6-4. The 21-year-old from Cape Town capitalized on four of his eight break point chances to prevail after one hour and three minutes. Harris will next take on the winner of the encounter between fifth seed Casper Ruud and Christopher Eubanks from the United States.

Liam Broady won the all-British battle against Daniel Evans in three sets. Broady took set one 6-0 before Evans fought his way to victory in set two with a 7-6 (3) tie-break. In the deciding third set, Broady prevailed with a 6-4 victory. The encounter lasted two hours and 24 minutes.

Next up for Broady will be No. 8 seed Marc Polmans from Australia, who fought his way to victory to advance to the quarterfinals over US-American Mitchell Krueger in three sets. Polmans dropped in set one with a 6-7 (4) tie-break, before bouncing back to take sets two and three in a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
