Bad Schussenried is the latest stop on the ITF Pro Circuit hosting the inaugural best wood SCHNEIDER TENNIS OPEN on the clay courts of the local tennis club from 8 to 15 July 2018. Bad Schussenried with a population of about 9,000 is a spa town situated in the district of Biberach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

World No. 280 Mario Vilella Martínez of Spain leads the line-up of the $15,000 Futures event. The 23-year-old arrives in Upper Swabia after clinching his second ITF Pro Circuit title of the season in Telfs, Austria, last week. Second seed is Juan Ignacio Galarza of Argentina. 22-year-old Dominik Böhler is the tournament’s local favourite and highest ranked German in the main draw. He is seeded eighth.
