Aljaz Bedene and Nicolas Kicker will play for the Internazionali di Tennis dell’Umbria ATP Challenger in Todi on Sunday.

On Saturday evening, the tournament’s top seed from Great Britain beat Marco Cecchinato, winning 7-6, 6-3. Bedene dominated the match right from the beginning and won 81% of his first service points to advance to his fourth final of the season. Bedene claimed two ATP Challenger titles this year, lifting the trophies in Irving and Rome. He finished runner-up at the ATP 250 in Chennai in January.

Kicker defeated Matteo Donati, winning 7-6, 4-6, 6-3. The 22-year-old Argentine won 75% of his first service points and capitalized on two of his five break point chances to reach his maid Challenger final after two hours and six minutes.

Earlier the day, the tournament’s top favourites Flavio Cipolla and Maximo Gonzalez claimed the doubles title winning the final against the German tandem of Andreas Beck and Peter Gojowczyk 6-4, 6-1 in 67 minutes.
