Gianluigi Quinzi lifts his second ATP Challenger trophy in five weeks after clinching the title at the XVI Venice Challenger Save Cup, held on the clay courts of the Tennis Club Mestre. The fourth seed of the €43,000 event emerged victorious from Sunday’s all-Italian singles final with wild card entry Gian Marco Moroni, 6-2, 6-2.
Quinzi, who also triumphed on home soil in Francavilla, won 71 per cent of his first service points and broke serve five time so to prevail in one hour and 36 minutes.
Gianluigi Quinzi is the champion in Mestre, taking an all-🇮🇹 final 62 62 over Gian Marco Moroni.

The 22-year-old takes away €6,190 in prize money as well as 80 ATP Ranking points moving up to a career-high World No. 204 in the ATP Rankings.
On Saturday, Marin and Tomislav Draganja of Croatia took the doubles crown. The No. 4 seeds battled past Romain Arneodo of Monaco and Serbian Danilo Petrovic 6-4, 6-7, 10-2. The final lasted one hour and 38 minutes.
