Maximilian Marterer clinched his fifth ATP Challenger Tour title, winning the 13th edition of the Bauer Watertechnology Cup held indoors on carpet from 30 October to 5 November 2017 at the House of Sports in Eckental.
The 22-year-old German defeated Jerzy Janowicz in the final 7-6, 3-6, 6-3. It was Marterer’s first ATP Challenger trophy lifted on home soil.
Sander Arends from the Netherands and Roman Jebavy of the Czech Republic took the doubles crown. The pair defeated Neal and Ken Skupski 6-2, 6-4 for their first team title.
