TUNIS, February 2, 2017

Tunisia and Sweden will meet for the first time in the opening round of the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Group II, Europe/Africa Zone. The tie will be held from 3 to 5 February at the Tennis courts of Cité Nationale Sportive El Menzah in Tunis.

Malek Jaziri leads the African team against a weakened Swedish squad, which has to cope with the absence of their promising youngsters Elias and Mikael Ymer. Jaziri will open the tie on Friday against Isak Arvidsson, followed by Mohamed Aziz Dougaz taking on Patrik Rosenholm. Both pairs will square off for the first time.

On Saturday, Anis Ghorbel and Malek Jaziri will face Johan Brunstrom and Andreas Siljestrom in the doubles rubber.
