PAU/STARNBERG, February 13, 2026
It was a banner day for the home crowd in Pau as three French players secured their places in the quarterfinals of the Teréga Open Pau-Pyrénées. Clement Tabur, fresh from qualifying, continued his impressive run with a convincing 6–3, 6–3 win over Spaniard Martin Landaluce. That marked Tabur’s fourth straight victory in the tournament and earned him a quarterfinal clash with Moez Echargui, of Tunisia who swept past Slovakian Lukas Klein 6–2, 6–2.
Defending 2023 champion Luca Van Assche had to dig deep after a one-sided first set against Zdenek Kolar of the Czech Republic. Raising his level, Van Assche turned the match around to prevail 1–6, 6–3, 6–4 and set up a heavyweight quarterfinal with reigning champion Raphael Collignon of Belgian, who edged past US-American Martin Damm in two tight tie-breaks, 7–6, 7–6.

Benjamin Bonzi showed composure against Leandro Riedi of Switzerland, closing out a 6–3, 7–6 win to book an all-French quarterfinal against Arthur Bouquier, guaranteeing a home player in the semifinals.
Elsewhere, second seed Alexander Shevchenko from Kazakhstan overcame a stern test from Estonian Daniil Glinka. After missing two match points in the second set, Shevchenko responded emphatically in the decider to win 6–3, 6–7, 6–1 in just 22 minutes and will next face German qualifier Henri Squire.
