Bigger Prize Money For The Enea Poznan Open

Enea Poznan Open

POZNAN/STARNBERG, February 10, 2026

Not only Grand Slam players can look forward to higher prize money. This year, the prize pool at the Enea Poznan Open will also increase, reaching more than €160,000.

Last year’s 30th anniversary edition of the ATP Challenger in Poznan was a huge success, attracting more than 13,000 spectators to the stands of Park Tenisowy Olimpia. The organizers have already begun preparations for this year’s tournament, which has just been confirmed in the ATP calendar. As in previous years, the event will take place in the third week of June.

“We can now officially announce that the Enea Poznan Open 2026 will be held from June 14 to 20. The first two days will be dedicated to qualifying, followed by the main draw. We have scheduled both the singles and doubles finals for Saturday, June 20,” said Tournament Director Krzysztof Jordan.

Poland’s oldest tennis Challenger is an extremely important event for the city and its residents. Proof of this came at the Poznan Sports Gala, where the tournament received the award for ‘Sporting Event of the Year 2025’. “We are delighted with this recognition, because it is an appreciation of our work on the anniversary edition of the Poznan Challenger. We try to show that the Enea Poznan Open is not only a sporting spectacle, but also offers many additional attractions for residents and includes socially important initiatives. Attendance on some days increased by more than 100%, and ticket sales rose by as much as 70%. We are proud of these results, but we are also aware of how high we have set the bar for ourselves,” said Ewelina Sterczewska, Managing Director of Park Tenisowy Olimpia.

The Poznan tournament, whose title sponsors are ENEA SA and the City of Poznan, has once again proved to be a “springboard” for the careers of its participants. The winner of the anniversary edition, Filip Misolic, is currently ranked world No. 78. However, the most spectacular rise among the players from the 30th edition belongs to Valentin Vacherot. The Monegasque arrived in Poznan ranked No. 267 and is now the world No. 27. Less than four months after leaving Poznan, Vacherot won the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Shanghai, defeating, among others, Novak Djokovic and Holger Rune, before beating his cousin Arthur Rinderknech (the 2022 Poznan Open champion) in the final. As of February 2, 2026, no fewer than five former Poznań Challenger participants are in the ATP Top 30: Casper Ruud (No. 12), Jakub Mensik (No. 16), Jiri Lehecka (No. 21), Valentin Vacherot (No. 27) and Tomas Machac (No. 29).

Organizing an ATP Challenger event and attracting future tennis stars to Poznan requires significant logistical and financial effort. For this reason, the tennis complex in Golęcin must be continuously modernized and expanded to meet ATP standards. This year, higher prize money will be part of that development as well. The 31st edition of the Enea Poznan Open will offer a total prize pool of €160,280 plus hospitality (covering accommodation, meals and transport for the players). This means that the singles champion will leave Poznan with almost €24,000 in prize money. The tournament will be played as an ATP Challenger 100, awarding 100 ATP ranking points to the winner.

Beyond the on-court action, the organizers also promise a wide range of additional attractions this year, combining tennis with other sports, as well as culture, business, ecology and activities for children. More details will be announced soon on eneapoznanopen.pl and on the event’s social media channels. The organizers invite fans to join them at Park Tenisowy Olimpia in Poznań from June 14 to 20.
