Daniel Masur has claimed his third title at the MLP Cup in Nußloch, Germany, adding to his victories in 2023 and 2024. With another strong performance, the 31-year-old German once again proved his consistency and dominance on the carpet of the ITF World Tennis Tour M25 event, continuing a remarkable run at one of his favorite stops on the circuit.
In Sunday’s singles final of the tournament’s 21st edition, Masur outlasted Karlis Ozolins of Latvia 6-4, 4-6, 6-1. The World No. fired 14 aces and capitalized on four of his eight break-point chances to prevail after one hour and 38 minutes.
The No. 6 seed advanced to the championship match with wins over his compatriots Noel Larwig and Vincent Dullinger as well as Dominic Stricker from Switzerland and Ukrainian Oleg Prihodko. Masur captured his 14th career title on the ITF Pro Circuit, his first since 2024, in addition to his two triumphs on the ATP Challenger Tour in 2021.

Masur also triumphs in doubles
Masur also secured the doubles title alongside Belgium’s Thibaut Colson. In Saturday’s final, they defeated the top-seeded Czech pair Jan Jermar and Dominik Recek 6-4, 7-6(4), showing great composure, especially in the second-set tie-break.
Back in 2024, Masur had already achieved the same feat, first winning the doubles title before going on to claim the singles crown as well.
