Following the announcement of Frances Tiafoe, the Vanda Pharmaceuticals Mallorca Championships confirms Yannick Hanfmann as the second player for the 2026 edition. The German will return to the Mallorca Country Club from 20 to 27 June 2026, looking to make a strong impact during the grass-court swing.

Hanfmann is known for his big serve, aggressive baseline play, and calm under pressure. The 34-year-old has previously delivered standout performances in Santa Ponça, including a breakthrough run to the semifinals in 2023, where he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas and Feliciano López.

After a resilient 2025 season, marked by strong Challenger results and consistent ATP Tour appearances, Hanfmann returns to Mallorca with renewed confidence and motivation. Although he missed the main draw in 2024 after falling in qualifying, the German is eager to prove himself once again on the Wimbledon-certified grass courts of Santa Ponça.

“Mallorca holds great memories for me,” said Hanfmann. “Beating top players here was an incredible experience, and I’m really looking forward to being back. It’s a beautiful venue with great fans, and I believe my game can be very effective on grass when I’m playing with confidence.”
