LONDON, November 12, 2025 (ATP Media Release)
Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool clinched Year-End ATP Doubles No. 1 presented by PIF honours Tuesday evening, when they won their second round-robin match at the Nitto ATP Finals. They are the first all-British team to achieve the feat.
Cash and Glasspool first competed together last September and in their first full season as a team, they have won seven titles to lead the ATP Tour.
The former college tennis standouts in the United States — Cash at Oklahoma State University and Glasspool at the University of Texas — are the first year-end No. 1 doubles team to have both players come from the American college system since Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan (Stanford University) in 2014.
Cash and Glasspool began their 2025 campaign by lifting the trophy in Brisbane and surged from there.
Their best stretch of the season began during the grass-court swing, which they started by making the final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. From there, the Britons won consecutive titles at Queen’s Club, Eastbourne, Wimbledon and Toronto. During that period, they won 22 straight matches.
Cash and Glasspool’s victory at Wimbledon was the first major triumph for both men. They became the first all-British pair to claim a major men’s doubles trophy since 1936.
Cash and Glasspool also won titles this season in Doha and Vienna, and made finals at the ATP Masters 1000 events in Miami and Monte-Carlo.
They were the first doubles team to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals, with Cash making his debut in Turin and Glasspool competing in the season finale for the second time (2022 with Harri Heliovaara).
