By winning their first team title, the home favourites in Mouilleron-le-Captif split € 4,540 in prize money and earned 75 ATP Doubles Ranking points.
“We hadn’t played together in a tournament for nearly 10 years. The first two rounds weren’t easy, but then things started to click,” Jacq and Olivetti said afterwards.
“We found our rythm, and everything went really well. In the final, up until the tie-break, it was very tight. They were even up 5–3, but we managed to turn things around on two very tough points. With the support of the crowd, we were able to shift the momentum in our favor and go on to win the match.”
