STUTTGART, June 10, 2025
The ATP grass-court tournament at the Tennis Club Weissenhof in Stuttgart will continue to carry the name BOSS OPEN through at least 2030. The event’s organizer, e|motion sports GmbH Germany, and the HUGO BOSS AG have agreed to extend their successful partnership for another five years.
The contract extension was officially announced on Tuesday by Tournament Director Edwin Weindorfer, CEO of e|motion sports GmbH Germany, and HUGO BOSS CEO Daniel Grieder during a media event held at this year’s BOSS OPEN. Also present was World No. 7 and BOSS brand ambassador Taylor Fritz.
“We began an exciting journey with BOSS in 2022 that has brought a fresh and modern identity to the tournament. We’ve made significant investments and introduced many new ideas in collaboration with BOSS,” said Weindorfer. “Alongside world-class tennis, we’re also focusing on fashion and lifestyle. We’re thrilled to continue this partnership with HUGO BOSS, a globally respected and successful company with roots right here in Baden-Württemberg.”
With the prior extension of the agreement with the TC Weissenhof, the ATP Tour 250 tournament’s license holder, also running through 2030, the long-term future of the BOSS OPEN is now fully secured.
“The fact that we’ve extended our collaborations with both BOSS and the TC Weissenhof – the latter of which we’ve been working with since 2007 – gives us great stability and motivation. We’re committed to developing the BOSS OPEN in every way possible, and we’ll pursue this goal with full energy and professionalism,” Weindorfer added.
HUGO BOSS’ renewed commitment highlights the brand’s strong connection to the region.
“The BOSS OPEN is both a statement of our dedication to tennis and a matter of the heart. That’s why we’ve extended our title sponsorship through 2030 and expanded our engagement this year,” said HUGO BOSS CEO Daniel Grieder. “Our goal is to offer fans more experiences per square meter beyond tennis and make the atmosphere and spirit that define BOSS truly come alive.”
