“It was amazing. I felt like at home. The crowd and the site were amazing. Everything was perfect. I improved match by match. I am really proud of myself,” Misolic said.
“The result in the final might look easy but it was a hard battle on the court. I am very happy to clinch the trophy and I also got my revenge for my loss against Guy in Kigali. I knew it would become a tough match. He is an amazing player with an unbelievable forehand. I had to keep going, pushing the ball in and trying to stay aggressive. I managed it quite well.”
Misolic clinched his third career title on the ATP Challenger Tour, his first of the season. The World No. 179 pocketed €12,980 in prize money as well as 75 ATP Ranking points.
The 25th edition of the Advantage Cars Prague Open was hosted by the I. Czech Lawn-Tennis Klub (CLTK) Praha. The club is located on the Stvanice Island, which lies in the Holesovice bend of the Vltava River. The clay-court tournament offered a total prize pool of €91,250.
