Coric Claims Open Aix Provence Challenger Title

Borna Coric has claimed a tour-leading fourth ATP Challenger Tour title of the season by lifting the trophy of the 12th edition of the Open Aix Provence Credit Agricole. The 28-year-old from Croatia defeated Swiss wild card entry Stan Wawrinka 6-7(5), 6-3, 7-6(4) in a rain-interrupted singles final on Sunday.

In the pair’s seventh meeting, Coric withstood 10 aces from Warinka and broke the 40-year-old’s serve two times. The Zagreb native won 52 per cent of the total points played to secure victory in three hours and 11 minutes.

Now with his fourth ATP Challenger Tour title of the 2025 season, Coric has officially secured his return to the Top 100, as he will climb to World No. 84 on Monday. He pocketed €34,900 in prize money as well as 175 ATP Ranking points.

The Open Aix Provence Credit Agricole offered a total prize pool of €227,270 and was hosted by the Country Club Aixois.
