The 2025 ATP Tour season begins with the third edition of the United Cup and ATP 250 events in Brisbane and Hong Kong.
Germany is the defending champion at the mixed-teams United Cup, which features some of the biggest men’s and women’s tennis stars in the world. Among those in action between Sydney and Perth on the ATP side are Alexander Zverev, home favourite Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz and Casper Ruud.
Eighteen countries featuring up to three men and up to three women will compete for a minimum AUD $17 million / USD $11 million in prize money and 500 PIF ATP and WTA rankings points. Perth will open the United Cup on Friday 27 December at RAC Arena, while the group stage in Sydney will begin on Saturday 28 December at Ken Rosewall Arena.

Djokovic and Kyrgios start the year in Brisbane
Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios are both set to return to action at the Brisbane International presented by Evie (begins 29 December), and Andrey Rublev will be the top seed at the Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open (begins 30 December).
