The World No. 347 began the day by defeating Viktor Durasovic of Norway 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 in a semifinal, which lasted two hours and 26 minutes. Faria then clinched the victory in the championship match against Hady Habib from Lebanon 6-7(6), 7-6(3), 6-1 after two hours and 22 minutes.
