Frances Tiafoe and Jan-Lennard Struff have joined Alexander Zverev to compete in this year’s BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart. The ATP Tour 250 grass-court event with a total prize money of €812,235 will be held from June 8 to 16, 2024 at the Tennis Club Weissenhof.

This also brings back memories of one of the most thrilling finals in the long history of the tournament. In front of a sold-out crowd on Centre Court, Tiafoe emerged victorious in a tennis thriller, securing a 4-6, 7-6(1), 7-6(8) victory after saving a match point in last year’s championship match.

The US-American not only celebrated his first grass-court title at the 2023 BOSS OPEN but also took many fond memories from the Swabian region. “The audience was one of the most respectful I have ever experienced. Of course, they wanted Struffi to win, but they also applauded me and did a great job. I fondly remember this tournament. Everyone was super nice to me, and there were so many people watching us during training sessions. Everything was so relaxed, so I’m glad to come back to the BOSS OPEN in Stuttgart this year,” explained Tiafoe.

“I was close to winning my first title on the tour in Stuttgart last year. The atmosphere and energy, especially in the semifinals and finals, were unbelievable. My family felt completely at home at the Weissenhof. I’m very excited to come back this year,” said Struff.

“We are delighted that both of Germany’s top players, Alexander Zverev and Jan-Lennard Struff, will be competing at the BOSS OPEN this year. In addition, defending champion Frances Tiafoe, one of the most prominent personalities on the ATP Tour, will be joining them at the Weissenhof. With these three stars, this year’s tournament already boasts a top-class lineup. However, we expect to present more top players to the Stuttgart tennis fans in the coming weeks,” emphasizes tournament director Edwin Weindorfer.
