ABC Sport To Bring Australians Closer To The Action At AO 2024

ABC Sport and the Australian Open are delighted to announce an agreement for audio rights to Australian Open 2024.The ABC will bring all the highlights from Australia’s premier tennis event to audiences live and ad free via ABC local radio network and ABC listen for the first time since 2015.The ABC will have a strong roster of commentators with Corbin MiddlemasMatt ClinchAndrew MooreQuentin Hull and Ned Hall being joined by John Alexander, Roger Rasheed and Paul McNamee providing play by play commentary of the big matches, with a focus on Australian players across the draw, plus all the big finals.ABC listen is the best place to hear all the action, where audiences will be able to hear the morning and evening sessions live and uninterrupted each day of the tournament, through a dedicated Australian Open button.The ABC will support live coverage with content unpacking the action from the competition across its platforms.“We are delighted to partner with the ABC in an agreement that will allow existing and new fans alike to experience the thrilling action of the Australian Open,” said Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer Cedric Cornelis.ABC Head of Audio Ben Latimer said, “The ABC is committed to making our iconic sporting moments accessible to all Australians.
